Laken’s journey in caretaking has profoundly shaped her understanding of the importance of financial planning. A challenging chapter in her life sparked a deep appreciation for the meticulous steps needed for financial preparation across various stages and walks of life. This experience motivated her to delve into the world of finance, leading her to earn the necessary licenses and certifications. She joined the Paraclete team in 2022 and, in 2023, became a certified college advisor with College Funding Solutions, Inc., to assist families in managing education costs effectively.
Laken was born and raised in southeastern Virginia. With a strong passion for financial literacy and retirement planning, she is dedicated to helping clients secure their financial future. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with her family.
Kayla Jones
Executive Assistant
Kayla Jones serves as Executive Assistant at Paraclete Wealth Partners, where she supports Laken Collins and helps create a smooth, welcoming experience for the families Laken serves. Known for her positive attitude and ability to connect with others, she brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to her role.
Having moved frequently throughout her childhood, Kayla developed a strong sense of adaptability and an ability to relate to people from all walks of life. Inspired by her parents’ strong work ethic, she developed a desire for a more intentional financial future centered on stability and long-term planning—ultimately leading her to Paraclete.
Before joining the firm, Kayla worked in the dental field, focusing on assisting, treatment coordination, and education. She now calls Texas home and enjoys hiking, summer trips to the beach, and spending time with her two dogs.
